Terms of service

These terms are a working draft for Birchpin. Counsel must finalize them before we take live payment. Until then they describe how the product is intended to work.

Birchpin sells vehicle GPS hardware and a location service for vehicles you own or lease, or for which you have the written consent of the owner.

You must not use Birchpin to follow a person, a spouse, an employee’s personal car, or any vehicle you do not own, without the owner’s consent. Illinois 720 ILCS 5/21-2.5 and similar laws in other states criminalize that use. We will disable a device on an abuse report.

The service is a tool, not a guarantee. A silent pin, a dead radio, or a missed theft is possible. If the outage is on our side we will replace the device and refund the month. We do not promise a recovered car.

Hardware is sold as-is with a 30-day DOA replacement. Subscriptions cancel any day; prepaid years are not prorated after day 30.

The app is a viewer. Plans are billed on the web. We do not sell covert kits, microphones, or immobilizers.
